Ethics for Editorial Team

As the publisher of the Legal Scientific Journal, Faculty of Law, Universitas Muslim Indonesia takes the task of maintaining all stages of publishing in the management of Election Law Review very seriously. Therefore, the Editorial Board recognizes the importance of ethics and other responsibilities. Furthermore, the Editor-in-Chief ensures that advertising, reprint, or other commercial revenue does not impact or influence the Editor's decisions. In addition, the Editorial Board will assist with communication with other journals and/or publishers if this is useful and necessary.

Manuscript Eligibility Decision

Each Editor is responsible for deciding which manuscript eligible to be published. Each Editor may be guided by the Editor-in-Chief's discretion and limited by applicable legal provisions, such as defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The Editor in making this decision may also consult with other Editorial Boards and/or Reviewers of this manuscript. Therefore, the Author's attitude is essential in supporting the decision.

Aspects of Justice

Each Editor in evaluating the manuscript is not allowed to look at the Authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnicity, nationality, or political views.

Secrecy

Each Editor is not allowed to disclose any information in the manuscript to anyone other than the Author, Reviewer, Prospective Reviewer, and other Editorial Board.

Disclosure and Conflict of Interest

Every Editor and other Editorial Board is not allowed to take part or all of the research material in an unpublished manuscript, except with the Author's written consent.
