Contribution to Editorial Board Decisions
Reviewers assist each Editor in making decisions about the suitability of manuscripts. In addition, reviewers also assist authors in improving the quality of manuscripts through the editor.
Promptness
Any reviewer selected by the editor but who feels unqualified, uninterested, or does not have sufficient time to review the manuscript must immediately notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
Confidentiality
Every manuscript received for review must be treated as a confidential document. Reviewers must not disclose or discuss the manuscript's contents with anyone except with the approval of the editor.
Standards of Objectivity
Reviews must be conducted objectively. Subjective criticism of an author's manuscript is not acceptable. Reviewers should express their views clearly and with an argumentative narrative.
Disclosure of Sources
Reviewers should identify published scholarly work relevant to the manuscript but not cited by the authors. Furthermore, if there are descriptions of observations, derivations, or arguments in the manuscript that are similar to published scientific works, these references must be cited and then questioned by the Author regarding the validity of the manuscript. Reviewers must also disclose to the Editor any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published articles.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Reviewers are not permitted to use any or all of the research materials and ideas in a manuscript for personal gain. Reviewers must also recommend improvements to the manuscript for further review if they have a known conflict of interest resulting from competition, collaboration, or other relationships or connections with any of the Authors, their Company, or their Institution.
